The Islamic Center of the Triad (Masjid Al Quds) has served Greensboro and the surrounding Triad since 1982.
Who we are
A center for worship and dignity
We believe in the Oneness of God (Allah) and the oneness of humanity. ICT is a non-profit educational, religious, and humanitarian organization committed to excellence in community life.
Governance rests with the Board of Trustees (Shura) and the Executive Committee, both responsible to the General Body of members.
History
Growing with the Triad
1982
Humble beginnings
Legally established in May 1982 at Merritt Drive. The first Jumu'ah gathered only four people.
1992
First relocation
Weekly attendance grew past 150. In March 1992 ICT relocated to West Market Street.
2002
Mary Street masjid
Attendance reached 300+ per week before moving in January 2002 to Mary Street.
2018
Phase one expansion
Today we greet 450+ Muslims weekly for Jumu'ah at Frances Daily Ct, with hope that number continues to rise, insha'Allah.
